About the Artist

Shell Duck jewellery is designed and handmade by local artist Michelle Harrison, who grew up in Grays, Essex. She studied at Palmers Collage and Thurrock College before completing an illustration degree in Staffordshire. She is a full time writer and a keen gardener which is reflected in her work.

Each unique piece is created using natural items such as sycamore keys, shells and leaves. An impression is cast into silver clay which, after firing, is pure silver.
