Well House Gallery is located in a 17th century former village store, in the historic centre of Horndon-on-the-Hill in Thurrock, Essex.

You will find us next to the medieval Woolmarket building, and opposite two great village pubs where you can enjoy food or a cup of coffee. The Bell for its award winning restaurant and hospitality, and The Swan for their bar and delicious meals).

Monday & Friday
10am - 12 noon & 1 - 4pm (closed 12-1 noon for lunch break)
Tuesday & Thursday
10am - 12 noon & 1-4pm (closed 12-1 noon for lunch break)

Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday - CLOSED


We are always Closed on Bank Holiday Mondays


We have a late night opening to browse or purchase on Friday 21st February 10am - 8.30pm

Easter weekend we are closed incl. 17 ,18 &21st April

June 28 & 29th - Feast & Fayre weekend we will be OPEN 10am - 5pm on Saturday & Sunday

Artists who Gather has now finished but coffee is always available at Reddingtons Butchers if you want to pop in for a chat with your hot drink . If you would like to sit down and paint and meet other creatives there is a relaxed friendly downstairs Art Group in The Woolmarket/next door every Friday .
