Bronwyn Oldham
As an avid flower photographer, her recent work has been influenced by the floral works of the late, American, female modernist painter, Georgia O’Keefe. Her bold paintings mirror the techniques of tight cropping and abstract composition found in photography. Tulips are her favourite flower and she loves to capture them in her work at various stages of their life. She is also a keen gardener and sees this as having a deeper connection with her subject matter.
Deb Price - A Worthy Tide
As a passionate creative, Deb Price started to recycle materials into works of art. Wherever possible she uses all manner of throwaway items. A vintage book for example has endless recycling possibilities! Waste not want not is her motto.
Susan Blamey
Susan Blamey has been making cards for 25 years and blogged about paper crafts for the past 10 years. Flowers are a favourite subject of hers, reflecting her love of gardening and nature. She has used mono printing, lino printing and watercolour - hey go to techniques for these cards. Each card we have for sale is one of a card and won’t be reproduced.
Jackie Burns
Jackie Burns is a Fellow of the International Association for Astronomical Artists, a science communicator, and a multi-disciplined artist. Her media includes, but is not exclusive to, acrylic on canvas, drawing, digital, fibre, glass, metal, and jewellery. She lives and works as a professional artist in Essex.

Susan Keeble is based in the village of Margaretting, near Chelmsford, and coming from a family of artists, she has been painting for as long as she can remember. She uses watercolours, acrylics and oils in the work.
While there remains a strong figurative quality in her paintings, her main focus concentrates on the investigation of the light, colour and shapes in the world around her. Evoking the feel or mood of the place and seeking to express the energy and emotion of being there.
As well as painting, Susan is also a potter, creating may works in clay that shall be available to buy in the galley during the exhibition.

Peter Springer: Paintings
1st March - 31st March 2022
Redshanks By Peter Springer - Watercolour Painting - £650
1st - 31st March - Peter Springer Paintings
Peter Springer splits his time between living in the UK and Barbados where he is stimulated artistically by the vast differences in the weather and the natural world.
Peter’s interest in nature started from early childhood, kindled by his father who was a keen naturalist and breeder of exotic birds in Barbados. His interest in wildlife is only rivalled by his love of art; both developing separately as he experimented with all types of subject matter and painting styles. When he eventually concentrated solely on wildlife art, he was immediately hooked; finding the extensive field work required a huge bonus. Being an obsessive nature lover, gave him the perfect excuse to explore for hours the beauty of the woods, marshlands and coastline in all seasons.
Peter has done several solo exhibitions in the UK as well as exhibiting in the Society Of Wildlife Artists, Royal Institute of Painters and Watercolour and Audubon Wildlife Masterpiece’s in Boston USA. He has also won several art competitions including the Sunday Times Watercolour competition and the Mall Galleries competition with Prince Charles selecting his work for the very prestigious “Discerning Eye”.

Visual Music in Textile Art: Jane Barry
7 March - 30 April 2021
7March - 30 April
Notes from Jane Barry:
“My thoughts on making visual images from favourite pieces of music have been developing over probably seven years or so. In concentrated months over 2020, my challenge formed into a collection of pieces of work, including a variety of textile techniques. Aspects of music chosen may inspire colours or shapes, or features connected with composers or musical forms.
“Embroidery is the basis of most pieces, using both free machine and timeless hand stitching. While recycling of fabrics is my source of the majority of materials, natural dyeing and layers of collage give me a sense of adventure.”
