About the Artist
Grace SIlverwood has been carving in wood since 2013. Having taught herself she has been free to create her own distinctive style in the wood she uses. Almost all of her materials are reclaimed, either as offcuts from other woodworkers or lately driftwood from the Thames itself. Her work lately has been progressing towards the miniature world and Grace likes to use found objects to empathise the scale in which she carves these pieces. Previously she made rocking horses to order and has been published twice in the Woodworker magazine with these.
