About the Artist
Dawn is a pastel artist with a love of colour who explores the memories of a felt experience, from places she has visited. Her paintings are a process of investigation and discovery which starts with visual research gathered from taking photos, sketching and painting plein air, then developing them further in her studio.
Dawn is an Associate Artist with Unison Colour, the Pastel Society of America, and Manchester Academy of Fine Art as well as the Society of Graphic Fine Art. She is also a member of Studio Fridays, the South Eastern Pastel Society and the Pastel Guild of Europe. Recently Dawn was awarded the Artist achievement award in Art & Colour Magazine.
