About The Artist
Paul Alcock has been painting and drawing pretty much as long as he can remember and counts himself as being very fortunate to live in this little corner of Essex on the Thames Estuary; an area which is so visually diverse.
He expresses something of its life in his paintings and paints a wide range of subjects based on his experiences of observing the world around him; painting from direct observations as much as possible. He also teaches several art classes to adults in both Rayleigh and Leigh On Sea, as well as running several painting holidays, workshops and demos throughout the year.
