I have loved needlework since I was 8 years old. I was a Head Teacher for half a century and since then been able to give more time to needle - felting, going on courses ,taking on 20 commissions and selling my work in Fort William & Highwwod, Essex.
Needle felting allows me to highlight and deepen the characteristics of the individual. The wool colours and textures I can buy are limited - so I often mix wools to make my own colours.
The medium lends itself to furry animals but I do human portraits too.
